1. incubate /'ɪŋkjʊbeɪt/
a.使(病毒)潜伏;
e.g. The virus can incubate for up to ten days after the initial infection. 病毒在初次感染以后可以潜伏长达 10 天。
b.孵化;孵卵;
Condors incubate only one egg and raise one chick at a time.
